# 30th April - biweekly GROMACS developer meeting - afternoon edition

Dear all,  
Next GROMACS developer meeting will be Wednesday, April 30, 2025 3:00 PM. Everybody is welcome.

Agenda:

- \<_very brief description of the topic, and link to information on the ideas or to the issue_\> \< _who you are_\>

- Open questions

We usually reserve in total 20 min for each discussion topic. We suggest to use 5-10 min to present the problem and focus on a question that you want to address.

Note this is a wiki post: Everybody in the developer category can edit!  
To be able to post on the developers category, you need to member of the forum and send a request to join the GROMACS developers group using the [following link](https://gromacs.bioexcel.eu/g/gmx_developers)

We discussed:

- outcoming release 2025.2
- Amber-GROMACS developer workshop (an announcement will be posted in the following under this category)
- AMBER force field
- Option for an interface between GROMACS and India-based code
- Idea to have a call of interest for learn to code in GROMACS both for mentor (via slack) and attendees via forum/webpage to understand if there is interest for an onsite hands-on session in autunn (plan to re-use online material)
