# Compatibility of CPU i7 12700 with Gromacs?

GROMACS version: 2022.1  
GROMACS modification: Yes  
Hi i have bought processor intel core i7-12700 but when I installed GROMACS 2022.1 it doesnt compatible with my CPU?

1. May I know if it actually works or is it only me?
2. If no, may I know when are you going to upgrade it?

There is no reason why GROMACS would not work on that hardware. If you need help getting things working, you need to provide specific information about what’s going wrong.
