# Jumping residue after PBC removal

Is this the [post](https://gromacs.bioexcel.eu/t/issues-when-using-fit-rot-trans/9323/5) you were referring to? They used -pbc whole in the place of -pbc nojump, does that still cause the same issues?

Also, found this [page](https://manual.gromacs.org/current/user-guide/terminology.html#suggested-workflow) in the manual which should be helpful if there are still further issues
