I did a sort of informal review of gmxapi status a few weeks ago. Are you thinking I should just expand on that?

Alessandra had mentioned I might give some sort of retrospective or perspective after 5 years of contributing code.

I’m happy to do either, but these would be slightly unusual topics compared to other recent meetings, so please let me know here or privately if anyone has feedback on what you’d actually like to hear from me (if anything).

Enjoy the holidays, All!

I would be interested in the retrospective, what you started with, and how did the API evolve over time.

Sorry, maybe it wasn’t clear in the agenda above, but I meant to suggest the same topic as Alessandra talked about during the meeting (retrospective/perspective of the gmxapi). Thanks for confirming the date!

Just a reminder that the first developer meeting of 2023 will take place tomorrow at 17:00 (Stockholm time)! We still have two open slots in the agenda so if anyone has something they wish to discuss, please let us know!

Looking forwards to seeing you again tomorrow!

I didn’t have a chance to review/convert/upload all of the documents and presentations mentioned in the slides. For copies of any that don’t have links, feel free to email me directly.

Thanks for an interesting overview. GitLab has a good remote work handbook, though as fully remote, not everything would be useful for Gromacs. LAMMPS uses a shared discourse https://matsci.org/ though primarily for the materials science community, but also has Slack and IRC.
