I am currently working with a lipid membrane system along with small molecules, and my objective is to determine the permeability of these molecules across the membrane. To ensure accurate results, I am concerned about the possibility of these small molecules forming clusters at the concentration I have introduced into the system.
I’ve heard that Radial Distribution Function (RDF) analysis could provide insights into this. Could someone guide me on how to properly define the molecular groups for RDF plotting? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate assistance in interpreting the RDF plots to determine whether clustering has indeed occurred or not.
