502 bad gateway - downloading Gromacs 2018 regression tests

Hello, is there any chance that the site hosting the Gromacs 2018 regression tests is down? I’m trying to install Gromacs 2018, and I keep getting a 502 Bad Gateway error during the cmake step while trying to download the regression tests.

I get the same error when I try to download the regression tests manually from this page: Downloads — GROMACS 2018 documentation.

The webpage loads fine, but I’m unable to download the regression tests from: http://gerrit.gromacs.org/download/regressiontests-2018.tar.gz

I’ve tried two different computers (Linux and Mac) and two different browsers (Firefox and Chrome), and I get the 502 Bad Gateway error for each.

I also checked using “downforeveryoneorjustme” which reported that the site was down for everyone.

PS - I realize I should switch to a more modern version of Gromacs… But I started this project in 2018 and now I need to extend the trajectories. I am starting all new projects with the current version of Gromacs.

Hi,
“gerrit.gromacs.org” does not exist anymore.
You can try here
https://ftp.gromacs.org/regressiontests/regressiontests-2018.tar.gz
If you are interested in another release just change the 2018 with the release number (e.i 2018.6)

A suggestion if you have to stick to a version, it is always good use the highest release number (e.i 2018.7 for 2018) - that is higher chance that it is bug free.
