Hi all,
I am now trying to finish the thesis and collect data to publish the paper in the journal.
In the paper (also thesis) I mentioned GROMACS, and the question comes does GROMACS stand for any abbreviation?
I found a paper in 2005 from D. van der Spoel et al, that GROMACS is an abbreviation from ‘Groningen MAchine for Chemical Simulation’; however, in a recent decade, or at least the references I read, authors no longer announce any abbreviation for GROMACS.
Besides, the information from Wikipedia also says that gromacs is currently not an abbreviation for anything (although the information should be checked carefully).
Therefore, I am somehow curious about that does GROMCAS as an abbreviation. Or it is fine to directly mention GROMACS in the text no matter in the thesis or published paper.
