How to add a new forcefield in Gromacs?

Here post your question How to add a new forcefield in Gromacs? With the existing ff directory in ‘/opt/software/GROMACS/grom/share/gromacs/top’, I copied a folder and renamed with MYFF.ff and changed some of the existing parameters in .rtp, .c.tdb, .n.tdb, .hdb files. Also, placed the same folder in the working directory. But in both the cases when I tried gmx pdb2gmx command, it shows only the existing FFs. Can anyone help me on this? Thank you so much in advance.

Gromacs recognizes the forcefield name from the first line of forcefield.doc in the folder instead of the name of the folder.
