GROMACS version: 2020.5 Release Notes

I am interested in reading the Issue linked in the 2020.5 Release Notes titled, “Fix incorrect electric field strength with applied electric field.”

The link to the Issue does not work and I cannot find a bug like this at the Redmine website.

Please let me know how to find the information.

we have our issue tracker now on Gitlab, with the linked issue here: Bug with electric field simulation using gromacs2020 (#3800) · Issues · GROMACS / GROMACS · GitLab

The issue links there should be pointing to the new site, not sure what happened. We are checking how to fix this.

Thanks, Paul. From the discussion, it sounds like version 2019.4 was okay. Do you know if version 2019.5 was affected? If you don’t know, that is okay.

The 2019 release series is not affected by the bug, so those versions are fine. Please check their release notes to make sure you are not affected by any issues that got fixed in between the point releases.

The bug is also fixed in 2020.5, so it you should be able to use the new version as well :)
