Mdrun options -pinoffset and -pinstride

Hi, I am not able to properly run jobs using -pinoffset and -pinstride on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3955WX 32 cores. However, I have been able to run jobs using -pinoffset and -pinstride on i5-8700K 6 cores properly. Need some help here to understand how these options function and how to properly use them.
