Virtual sites are not supported

Hello,

I am running the command gmx mdrun -v -deffnm md -update gpu -nb gpu -bonded gpu to get my utilization up to 90%. However, the -update gpu flag is outputting this error:

Inconsistency in user input:
Update task on the GPU was required,
but the following condition(s) were not satisfied:
Virtual sites are not supported.

Did I compile my Gromacs wrong?

Hello!

Virtual sites are not supported with GPU updates. Nothing you can do about it as a user.
