Here post your question : Is there any way in Gromacs such that one can just use the coordinates , temperature and box size from the NVT trajectory using the cpt file and not carry over the velocities to production run. I would like to manually add velocities in the gro file in md run but as soon as I use the -t flag it takes the velocites from the nvt trajcetory and if I dont use the -t flag the temperatures are no longer as desired. Any help would be appreciated!
