Segmentation fault in polymer salt and water system

hi, Im working on a polymer salt and water system and facing following issue,
step 16: One or more water molecules can not be settled.
Check for bad contacts and/or reduce the timestep if appropriate.

Back Off! I just backed up step16b.pdb to ./#step16b.pdb.3#

Back Off! I just backed up step16c.pdb to ./#step16c.pdb.3#
Wrote pdb files with previous and current coordinates
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
What could be possible reason.

Very likely, your system blowing up somehow. It can be clashes or strange interactions that produce very large forces and, as a consequence, large displacements.

Make sure you minimize the energy before the run; if that doesn’t help, follow the suggestion in the error message and reduce the timestep (to, say, 0.1 fs) and increase trajectory dumping frequency to visually inspect what the problem is.
